$150,000 Spent on Clothes for Sarah Palin by Republicans
Can you believe that the Republican National Committee has spent a staggering $150,000 on clothing and makeup for Sarah Palin since early September?
Apparently she likes Neiman Marcus. According to Politico.com, one of the many shopping sprees cost more than the average family makes in a year at a whopping $75,062.63.
Of course the Republicans tried to downplay the money spent until they found out that the story was hot in the media. They have since backtracked and recently released the following statement…
“With all of the important issues facing the country right now, it’s remarkable that we’re spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses,” said spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt. “It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign.”

Maybe I heard wrong but I thought they said that Sarah Palin had spent $47000 on makeup and hair alone in the past 4-5 weeks. Average soccer mom????? That is more than some families make in a year. Miss cuts wasteful spending????? Look at the hair style – hopefully she hasn’t paid too much for that.

I hear ya’ girl friend…$150,00.00…It is all a business…I suppose…But I agree with you…the hair is something else to be desired…but it is Republicans we are speaking about and they are known for their conservativeness.
Did you also hear that they are giving her 1800 per week for incidental expenses…I would love to meet the sales clerk that sold her that Democratic scarf that she wore in Reno…still laughing my large posterior off over that one!
