Clara Meadmore Who Turned 105 Friday-Claims To Be The Worlds Oldest Virgin
Clara Meadmore, who claims to be the oldest virgin in Britain, and probably the World, turned 105 Friday.
When asked about her longevity, Clara Meadmore said that, “remaining single and a virgin is what has kept her young…That and not having a man under foot.”
She stated, that in her day, women did not have sex unless you were married and she decided at the early age of 12, never to marry. Keeping her word to herself, she rejected all the men who asked her to marry them.
She has always stayed busy and still to this day, she has her hobbies and friends and remains active.
Miss Meadmore, who was born in Glasgow, Scotland, lived in Egypt, Canada
and New Zealand and as a child, traveled the world.
In her remarkable life, she served in Egypt with the Women’s Royal Army Corps during World War II and moved between New Zealand and London, after the war.
Up until the age of 97 she mowed her own lawn, has always enjoyed walking and NEVER owned a television.
Miss Meadmore now resides in a nursing home, in Perranporth, Cornwall.
