Sarah Palin Tells Katie Couric She Represents “NEW ENERGY”

In a recent interview with Katie Couric Sarah Palin stated that she was the “NEW ENERGY…”
That statement that leaves me totally confused. Does she mean that she is “GREEN ENERGY?” Last thing I knew, she was backing the good old boys and their high priced gas products…running gas pipes lines through her once naturally pristine, state of Alaska.
Or does she mean that she is the bubble headed brunette, that is stepping out on her front porch looking for Ruskies to invade the US, so she can tell them to SHOO back to Russia or she will kick some Russian butt?
She also stated that she has she had been listening to the Delaware Senator’s speeches since the second grade. Was that a slam dunk on his age? Personally, I find that hard to believe that she would remember listening to a Senator from another state when she was 8 years old…since she didn’t even know what some of Bush’s policies are and that is recent…
If she was taking a slam dunk on Joe Bidens’ age, perhaps she at better look at her running mate who is the OLDEST man ever…to seek a first presidential term…and not since Teddy Roosevelt has one had as many health issues.
When Katie asked Sarah Palin about her original comments that came at an Ohio rally on Monday, she stated, “Oh no, it’s nothing negative at all, he’s got a lot of experience and just stating the fact there, that we’ve been hearing his speeches for all these years.”
HA! Katie should have asked her what these speeches were and what did he stand for and she would have been a fish out of water, flopping around, gasping for air.
Those original comments were: “I’m looking forward to meeting him too, I’ve never met him before, but I’ve been hearing about his senate speeches since I was in like the second grade.”
Sarah tries to pull the iron out of the fire by replying that she was merely contrasting the differences she sees between herself and Senator Joe Biden.
Sarah then states, “he’s got a tremendous amount of experience and, you know, I’m the new energy, the new face, the new ideas and he’s got the experience based on many, many years in the Senate and voters are gonna have a choice there of what it is that they want in these next four years,” she said.
Once again left confused..Perhaps she was referring to her own running mate? She does seem to get confused, when it comes to politics.
Sarah, darling…you just gave every voter in America the reason not to vote for you…Experience, plus the fact that I have never heard Senator Joe Biden say, “you know” or “in like.”
Let’s see…Let’s do a little math here…Palin was 8 years old when Joe Biden was first elected to the Senate in 1972. Joe Biden was 29 at that time. A rather young Senator. Very impressive. Do the math America…do the math.
Here is what CNN has reported on this issue. Thank you CNN and Katie Couric for in depth reporting.
For those of you who did not watch SNL here is Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Katie Couric it is truly funny and amazing how much Tina Fey, is Sarah Palin. This is already my favorite SNL clip this year. So, here it is SNL LIVE…
I did like Sarah hair color better when she first addressed the nation. Now, they have added some streaks and made it darker, to make her look older. I guess to give her more creditability. Too bad Sarah…I liked it before. But I promise, I am going to keep looking for something besides shoes and hairdos, that I like about Sarah Palin.
Politicians will say absolutely anything to get in office.
This is one election where the team believed to be most honest will win.
