Unfair OIL PRICES-Are Canadians The Only Ones Pissed Off

Oil Prices Affect Us All-Why Aren’t Americans More Vocal Like This Canadian, EH?

Here is a rant that one of our Canadian Baby Boomers sent us…I thought it was worth posting…you ‘all know how I feel about oil companies…see if you feel the same way she does.

As we know, there are no cheap oil prices and who knows what future oil prices will be… I can only guess, that they will be soaring oil prices! I do not think that oil cost will come down.

Okay so I understand that Ike (Turner) was Bearing down on Texas and that could potentially have a disastrous affect on the oil rigs, out in the Gulf of Mexico.

However…When the gas prices only go up by .13 cents a GALLON in the United States
(on an average). Where as here in CANADA where fuel is purchased by the LITER
(approximately 4 liter’s to the gallon) our fuel cost’s jumped virtually overnight .13 cents a litre from $1.22 per liter to $1.36/L that means the U.S. who at present is paying approximately $1.12/L.

The storm is hitting the U.S…Canada has it’s own oil and apparently more than the U.S.
SO, WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR IMPENDING DAMAGE? WHEN IT IS NOT CERTAIN ANY DAMAGE WILL IN FACT HAPPEN TO THE RIGS???

Baby Boomer Queen,I ask that you post this on your blog and ask for peoples opinion on why we (Canadians) have to pay for Ike Turners fury here? And does anyone think that this is fair.

By the way I just bet that our forces on either side of our borders, imaginary as they are, do not have the same prices, as we, the public do!
