Sarah Palin-Up To Her Neck In Bear Fat
Well, Baby Boomers…it looks like Sarah Palin is in an other pickle. Of course you expect everything that you have ever done to surface, if you are running for office. But, it isn’t always cream that surfaces, in an election.
My Dad always said, “what you do in the dark, will be seen in the light.”
As in this case with Gov. Palin, she is accused of firing her then, Public Safety Commissioner, Walt Monegan. And she did fire him… Monegan claims he was terminated because he was pressured to fire a certain state trooper, who happened to be going though a nasty and bitter custody dispute. Who just so happened to have been married to Gov. Palin’s, sister. Monegan states he was was terminated when he refused.
Gov. Palin says she fired Monegan over budget issues, and denies any wrong doing.
Now, I do not blame her for trying to help her sister. There isn’t anything that I wouldn’t do for my sister. But I am not in a high office, where I have swore to uphold laws and in a few words, “work for the people.”
This has the makings of a low budget mini series. Excuse the pun.
Today, five cronies…I mean five allies of Gov. Palin asked a judge to halt the state Legislature’s investigation into the firing of her public service commissioner, calling the probe a “McCarthyistic” inquisition. Well, I guess they couldn’t call it a witch hunt, because that would be to close to home. Wonder how many people even remember or really know what happened at the McCarthy Trials?
Any how…the law suit claims that the two “Democrats” and the former Anchorage prosecutor leading the probe, are unable to hold the balance between vindicating their own political interests and the interests of those who are being investigated. Stephen Branchflower the former Anchorage prosecutor who is leading the probe, was HIRED to investigate Monegan’s firing. So, I see no wrong doing there.
A statement was made from the McCain/Palin campaign that bolster the Governor’s argument that Monegan was fired over budget disputes and “egregious insubordination.” I guess the “egregious insubordination” was when Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan, refused to fire Gov. Palin’s X-brother-in-law.
Bottom line, the McCain camp is accusing the Obama camp for the probe of being “hijacked.”
The Obama camp has dismissed the remark or accusation as “complete paranoia.”
Be careful people this woman is a gun tot’in Momma and knows how to shoot!

No one sees the Gov, Palin cooperating with the investigation, because NOW it is “tainted and run by partisan individuals who have a predetermined conclusion.” Even though…Gov. Palin “originally pledged” to cooperate with the investigation that the state of Alaska’s Legislative Council commissioned in July of 2008. What a difference a day makes and being nominated for the Republican Vice Presidential, running mate of Senator John McCain.
