Bernie Mac’s Last Performance was a Block Buster
The House of Hope MegaChurch was Bernie Mac’s farewell appearance and more than 6000 of his family, friends, fans, politicians and fellow celebrities came to see him off. It was his last act and perhaps his best act. He was just, Bernie Mac, a Chicago boy who never forgot his roots, his town of Chicago and those who where his fans and friends. You were lucky if you were one of them.
He loved to make people laugh and that is what he did best.
He was the King of Comedy and will remain that in our hearts and minds.
