Michael Phelps IS The Winningest Olympic Athlete EVER
What a day for America and an Olympic Hero named, Michael Phelps. A name that has gone down in history winning two more Gold Medals on Wednesday. Michael swam his way into history, taking victory after victory and into the hearts of the World. He is now the Winningest Olympic Athlete Ever. Winning his 10Th and 11Th career gold medals PLUS, breaking five world records, in five events, at the 2008 Beijing Games. What an athlete.
Wednesday, he surpassed his fellow Americans Mark Spitz and Carl Lewis with gold metals 10 and 11. Then to top it all off…he and the American Team, flew past an old world record to be the first team to ever break the 7 minute timing in the 800 Freestyle Relay . His other gold metal was earned in the 200 meter butterfly.
