Good Bye To A Dear Friend

Dear Baby Boomers,

Today, I lost a very dear friend. And this is the hardest part of being a Baby Boomer. Losing your friends and family. I don’t mind (as much) the character wrinkles or that my body is changing and that gravity is winning. But, what I do mind losing is a good friend that I enjoyed their company and time that we had together.

I am glad that I had the opportunity to know Leonard (Bing) Daniels. I will remember him well, so he is not forgotten. He lived a good life and had no regrets.
March 14, 1918 to July 07, 2008

Tonight I will drink to his passage. He would like that, as he was an Irishman…I will hold my tears for those who need them. Tears where something he never needed.

Time and friends are precious. Waste not, want not.

Sincerely,
Sharon
