Ugliest Dog In The WORLD-Ugliest Dog On The Planet
Baby Boomers…“Gus” from St.Petersburg, Florida get the distinguished notoriety of being the “Ugliest Dog on the Planet,” at the World’s Ugliest Dog contest on Saturday at the Sonoma~Marin Fair in Northern California.
Gus has three legs, one eye and no hair, except for a white tuft on the top of his head. He’s a real winner. He is a pedigree Chinese Crested and his people counter parts are Jeanenne Teed, from St. Petersburg, Fla.
As an animal lover, I do not think that Gus is so ugly..perhaps the competition wasn’t as steep as it was last year. The dog that won last year was “dog butt ugly!” Bless his four paws!
After the big whoop-di-do…Jeanenne Teed characterized her dog’s reaction: “Well, I think right now, he’s ready for a nap.” Sounds like Gus might be a Baby Boomer…
Oh, to be a dog and live a dogs life!
Last year’s champ, Elwood, was a Chinese Crested and Chihuahua mix. Now that was an ugly dog!
This years winner won $500 and will be flown to New York to appear on “CBS This Morning.” The event will be aired on the Animal Planet network in October.
A good time was had by all…I hope that Gus’s people person, reads my recipe for Animal Crackers, that I just posted yesterday!
