Boston Celtics Win 17th Championship -Lakers Get Dominated

The Boston Celtics win and are the undisputed NBA Champions for 2008 after an amazing blowout of the Lakers. Total domination is all you can say.

If there was any doubt as to whether or not the Celtics really wanted this championship, they were answered tonight as the defensive pressure and overall energy of the Celtics simply overwhelmed the Los Angeles Lakers.

Many of the Celtics greats like Cedric Maxwell, Bill Russell, John Havlicek, and Joe Joe White where on hand to witness one of the most memorable performances in Celtic history.

Havlicek, one of the greatest Celtics ever, will find it thrilling that he wore the number 17 and that the Celtics won their 17th championship on the 17th of June. What are the odds of that happening?

Let it be known that the Celtics were definitely on their game tonight. Congrats to the Celtics and all of their die-hard fans. It’s time to celebrate.
