I have seen several of his movies and I personally think he is the GREATEST!!!! I recently read his two books: Measure of a Man and "Letters to my Great-Grand Daughter". This book was riveting!!! I read every word from cover to cover and embellished his ideas of life and the poignancy, excellent vocabulary and narrations of his experiences "only he could express it" so powerfully and dramatically. I just loved his style, his jest and simplicity. Wish I could meet him personally someday and express my admiration. I live on Long Island..East Setauket and was thrilled to read about his vist to Northport L.I. So close and yet so far!!! Please convey my heartiest congratulations and admiration to him....May he have a long long life...to write more for an avid reader like me! THANKS!!!! I am a great admirer of Sidney Poitier.
