Senator Hillary Clinton CONCEDES to Senator Barack Obama, giving Senator Obama her full support for the Presidency
The former first lady, who as recently as Tuesday, declared herself the strongest candidate, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, ended her historic campaign for the presidency on Saturday, May 7TH, 2008. She has told supporters to unite behind rival Barack Obama, closing out a race that was ground breaking for both Senators.
At the National Building Museum, not far from the White House, she longed to preside in. Senator Hillary Clinton gave this speech to her supporters and in the presence of her husband, the former president, and their daughter, Chelsea, “The way to continue our fight now to accomplish the goals for which we stand, is to take our energy, our passion, our energy and do all we can to help elect Senator Barack Obama, the next president of the United States.”
“Today, as I suspend my campaign, I congratulate him on the victory he has won and the extraordinary campaign he has won. I endorse him and throw my full support behind him and I ask of you, to join me in working as hard for Barack Obama as you have for me.”
With Senator Clinton placing herself solidly behind her Senator Barack Obama, she has just given Senator Obama about 18 million voters.
Baby Boomer, Senator Hilliary Clinton, will go down in history as being the first Baby Boomer, woman, that has ever come close to capturing a presidential nomination. She gave it all she had…but a true lady always knows when it is time to leave.
Senator Clinton supporters began lining up at dawn to attend the farewell address. Senator Obama backers showed up as well, as a gesture of party unity.
Baby Boomers, what we need now is a nation of unity to get this country back to where it needs to be. I look for the day when there will not be party difference. And no one draws a line in the sand with their big Left or Right toe. This is what divides us, the people.
Feel the change, fellow Americans…I do…
