Celtics VS Lakers – 1980′s Flashback Potential

You don’t have to be a Baby Boomer to know that the Celtics versus the Lakers back in the day was a thing of beauty. That’s when basketball was played for real. None of these sissy flagrant foul calls or hollywood type flops that we often see in the game today.

The question is will this upcoming series between these long time rivals give us a snapshot of the good ole days. Old school basketball fans out there know what I’m talking about. The legends of the game like Magic, Bird, The Chief, Kareem, Cornbread Maxwell, McHale, Worthy, Rambis, and others, never failed to give us intensity, suspense, and superb entertainment. Those were the days.
